Since the foundation of Gabriele Pierini 's company in 1997, the history of Emporium is that of a brand that has been able to mix ideas, materials and style to create beautiful and also functional objects. A practical design, capable of transforming your environments into places with attention to the smallest details. A unique objective that distinguishes the company is the craftsmanship and those typical values of Made in Italy that have allowed it to write an important history in the panorama of Italian design .

Emporium and some historical notes

From the production of cardboard boxes for wardrobes in the catalog released in 1997, Emporium moved on to the creation of the first furnishing accessories , immediately achieving success thanks to a line of products capable of communicating its originality. In 2003, Plexi came to light, a new brand born from the desire to put Emporium's production capacity at the service of third parties. The rise in the field of decorative lighting occurred in 2005, with the Ricciolo&Ricciolino suspension, an item that quickly gained popularity in both Italy and France . In 2008 the first contact with a great stylist, Agatha Ruiz de la Prada . From this collaboration was born Agathology , a line of articles that receives great media attention with a series of reports on the most important national networks ( Rai 1 , Rai 2 , La7 and Italia 1 ). To then move on to the collaboration with the GURU brand, which in the two-year period 2010-2012 led to the birth of Guru Casa furnishing accessories, presented at the 2010 Salone del Mobile . In 2014 the Cora and Zoe seats were produced, made with plastic material thermofused resulting from a recycling process. Both obtained the Honorable Mention at the Compasso d'Oro Award. In the same period Emporium created Macramè , Crocodilia , Pet le pup and Babele , receiving great attention in national and international magazines. In 2018, on the occasion of the party for 20 years of activity presented by the former volleyball player Andrea Lucchetta - the Bonbonne article was launched. Finally, we arrive at 2021. It is the year of the birth of new collections of Paola and Lucio lamps, in which the modernity of the shapes meets the ancient charm of tradition.
