Martinelli Cobra Light

The Cobra table lamp , designed by designer and founder Elio Martinelli, pays homage to the 1960s. This design piece is now considered a cult film lamp , having appeared in the famous film Men in Black III . Cobra is made of synthetic resin, and what immediately strikes us is its distinctive, minimalist shape. The rotatable head allows you to change its shape at will, increasingly resembling a cobra.

Born in Udine in 1927, Gae Aulenti completed her training in Milan and has ties to the world of industrial, architectural, and interior design. The lamp was conceived with a metal base lacquered in various colors and a matte white shade divided into four sections for a stunning effect. A telescopic shaft in satin-finish stainless steel connects the two elements, allowing for the lamp's height to be adjusted. Pipistrello has won numerous awards and is considered a classic, exhibited in famous design museums around the world. Martinelli Luce amazes us once again with lighting fixtures like the Colibri series, inspired by the eponymous bird.
