Glas Italia was born in Brianza in 1972. It has always produced doors, partitions and crystal furniture, drawing on the centenary experience of the family glass factory. The company uses advanced technologies and collaborations with internationally renowned designers . Thanks to this team of people they are able to realize the ideas of their creative talent. Inaugurated in 2011 and designed by Piero Lissoni, Glas Italia occupies an area of 11,000 square metres . Thanks to these, Glass Italia has received many awards. Among the many, we remember the Compasso D'Oro 2014 to Luminous, with furnishings designed by Tokujin Yoshioka . Winner of the Interior Innovation Award-German Design Council in 2009 and Honorable Mention at the XXII Compasso d'Oro ADI in 2011, the Oscar table designed by Piero Lissoni in extra-light transparent glass, appreciated for its lightness which has fascinated many of our customers, professionals and enthusiasts in the sector.

Planning and development

The company has published a short film , shot to enhance the industrial and artisanal production phase which has a focus on the creation of Glas Italia furnishings. “ All the invisible ”, this is the title of the short film that communicates making “the invisible visible”. The creation of a product, in fact, passes through human experimentation, knowledge of the material and the goal of achieving the shape designed by the designer. The production process, a mix of creativity, art and technology, accompanies the end customer to discover the industrial reality.
