After a global recession, and the crisis in Spain, the company suffers but despite this, Carlos López Orejudo remembers his father's advice and decides to take a risk. He flies to Hong Kong with the aim of giving impetus to the company by expanding its offer and products. In this way, it strengthens the company: Faro becomes the first importer of ceiling fans in Spain. During this new stage, the company continues to grow in the lighting and ventilation sector

Faro Barcelona 90s

In 1991 Carlos Martí, a friend of Carlos Lopez Orejudo, joined Faro as General Manager and started the first exports to France. The company broadens its horizons with a larger building of 1200 m2 with the support of 12 workers. Unfortunately, Carlos Martí dies suddenly, and is succeeded by Xavier Martín Conillas, still as General Director.

Faro Barcelona 2000s

The company changes direction, for brand differentiation. Xavier Martín initiates a change of direction to create and differentiate the brand. Xavier transforms Faro from an importer to a designer of its own models, taking on value with the creativity and quality of the design. Furthermore, it enhances international expansion, with exports to Italy and other European countries.

In 2007 the company took advantage of the growth to professionalize. The transfer to an industrial plant with more than 10.000m2 of warehouse and more than 2.000m2 of offices and exhibition space in Castellbisbal represents the basis for a new stage and expansion. The work team includes more than 60 professionals from different areas

The company acquires one of the most iconic lighting brands, BioscaBotey. The year 2011 turns into a mix of emotions. The purchase of BioscaBotey allows Faro Barcelona to get closer to the end customer
