The La Boite concept mixes its family history with the high fidelity sector and the design of ergonomic " all-in-one " products adapted to new technologies. Passed down from generation to generation for 80 years now, this know-how is carried forward with passion by Timothée Cagniard and his team.

HISTORICAL TECHNICAL HERITAGE 80 YEARS OF KNOW-HOW AT THE SERVICE OF ACOUSTICS

In 1938, Marie Cagniard Yeramian founded the SIARE® loudspeaker brand. In an era in which entrepreneurship and electroacoustics were not very open to women, she asserted herself with courage by establishing herself with innovation at the center of her industrial approach. Going from a radio component operator to a craftsman producing audio speakers, he became a symbol of success. The company would become the most important French manufacturer of loudspeakers and speakers in the 1970s and 1980s. At the helm: Marie, her son Thierry Cagniard and Michel Visan (founder of the Davis acoustics brand) will be at the origin of the creation of loudspeakers that will mark their era with their modernity and their quality, and will make the brand successful.

INNOVATION AND PATENTS CC LAB: OUR INTEGRATED LABORATORY

Since its creation in 2008, the research and development laboratory integrated into the La Boite concept ( CC LAB ) has developed multiple internationally patented audio technologies. The “ La Première ” model, created and developed by Guillaume and Timothée Cagniard, is an all-in-one system with the silhouette of an arcade game terminal that embodies the vision of the La Boite concept: custom-made high-end speakers, both all-in-one and stereophonic and adapted to contemporary uses. In 2010 CC LAB developed the LD (first Hifi station for computers) integrating its Wide Sound® technology, allowing, through sound reflection, extended stereophony and totally immersive sound diffusion through a compact, one-piece volume. Patents will follow for the Wide sound 2.0 integrated into the Cube model and for the Wide sound W. In 2017, after 7 years of research, our laboratory presented the Active Pressure Reflex® (PR) technology, which offers exceptional spectrum reproduction large thanks to the implementation of 2 digitally controlled speakers (including 1 internal woofer) in an airtight chamber. In 2019, CC LAB launches Wide Sound 3.0 of its LX product which allows exceptionally wide and precise reproduction thanks to the intervention of 2 convex deflectors for listening without loss of directivity at the treble level whatever the position of the listener or the volume of the room.

The heritage of the La Boite concept is also the belief that a quality product is created without concessions and that each component must be designed and developed from A to Z. CC LAB La Boite concept pursues a constant policy of research and development in its historic core business of loudspeakers: each product is designed, developed and perfected internally in its laboratory in Ustaritz , in the Basque Country. This allows it to innovate every year by creating new high-performance products both for its concept brand La Boite and for other companies that wish to entrust it with the research and development and production of acoustic speakers.
