What do a plate , a heart , concrete and a nutcracker have in common ? None, absolutely none, except that they all live in the same beautiful world of Seletti , each with its own artist who has made each of these elements into a piece of furniture that is almost a work of art. Seletti is a revolutionary , visionary , innovative , young brand that remixes every rigid formula into fun and colorful non-rules for home furnishings or any other environment. Objects in concrete, kintsugi of broken plates and wonderful lighting by emerging or famous artists such as Vascellari , Cattelan , Marcantonio . Even trying to describe the Seletti world is impossible, because it amazes every day!
Seletti's furnishings are extravagant , ironic and irreverent . There are only three adjectives that come to mind when thinking about this brand. A brand that has found the right compromise between irreverence and diversity, which highlights household items that have a great aesthetic with a pinch of art . Seletti tries to amaze all their audience by making their objects bizarre and out of the ordinary. You will be able to admire the beauty of chairs , tables , lamps and furnishing accessories that express the personality of the numerous designers who collaborate with them, giving life to imaginative and playful collections. Seletti products are designed to decorate the home and to make your rooms more intimate and fun and able to reflect your character.
The close collaboration between Marcantonio and Seletti has brought success to various collections. The famous Italian designer managed to create something unique. Monkey-shaped lamps have become iconic and sought-after products such as monkey -shaped lamps, bird -shaped lamps and mouse-shaped lamps . But Marcantonio still amazes us with Chamaleon Lamp , the chameleon-shaped lamp or Rio Lamp , the dog-shaped lamp by Stefano Seletti . The hyperrealism of the collection, which features astonishing figures, finds the right place in any environment. Seletti + Marcantonio products bring a touch of irony to the home of those who don't want to take themselves too seriously and love extravagance.
In 1972, returning from a trip to China, Romano Seletti began importing products made in China. The turning point came in 1987, when his 17-year-old son Stefano Seletti transformed objects into design furnishing accessories, reaching the present day by making Seletti design a brand recognized all over the world. The story of Seletti begins in 1964 in Cicognara, in the province of Mantua. Romano Seletti is the first company to start a business that aims to sell household items such as tablecloths, plates, cups and glasses, low cost products in the East, between China and Thailand, in Italian cities. But with his son Stefano, who took over the reins of the company in 1987
Seletti's mission is to create irreverent products that leave their mark on the history of contemporary design . The Seletti catalog may seem trivial because you can find a strange cup or lamp but in any case it is always a unique piece of Italian design. The experimentation of new materials become the distinctive features of Seletti products giving them a luxurious and high quality look. A grotesque finish or a broken shelf immediately becomes a sought-after product by professionals in the sector. Innovation and surprise are the guidelines of the company, which never gives up on professionalism and quality.
The union of Stefano and Maria Seletti , Vittorio Boni and Studio Badini , Selab Design is Seletti's laboratory. Teamwork leads to great results: many products have been created with Selab that have made the Seletti brand grow, such as the neon letters and Metalvetica. Helvetica is considered the most used font and Seletti has emphasized its qualities and potential for creating themed products . This is the idea that led Selab Design to a collection of metal letters and made Metalvetica the perfect solution capable of capturing the attention of anyone who enters the room where they are displayed
Seletti lamps are always a guarantee, both for aesthetics and for the quality and duration of the product itself. Seletti lamps come in various models and shapes and all represent the company but especially the soul of the designer who made them. Whatever the room that needs lighting , the lamp collection will always find the right angle to be able to illuminate it, bringing added value. For example, the Monkey Lamp bears the signature of the designer Marcantonio Raimondi Malerba , who after having designed it exclaimed: "I wanted to imagine that these monkeys are mixed in the house, they have dismantled the chandeliers attracted by the light and they want to try to steal some bulbs" . Made entirely of resin, it is available in various versions such as Monkey Seated Table Lamp , Monkey Standing Table Lamp , Monkey Wall Lamp , Monkey Lamp with Suspended Rope , Monkey Outdoor Black Lamp . The Lights Sel Sel lamp or the Maman Led chandelier are iconic and derived from ambitious projects. The chandelier has 14 bulbs and is a unique solution when it comes to ceiling lights. Many other products such as Multilamp , Uovo di Colombo , Neon Art , Neon Shades , Neon Selects , Neon Art Numbers , Neon Art Letters are all designed by famous designers suitable for furnishing and lighting even the bedroom
The Industry Collection furniture line was created by Seletti from Studio Job , formed by the duo Job Smeets and Nynke Tynagel . The complements of this line are chairs , armchairs and tables , designed for outdoor use , such as a swimming pool or garden , but which can also be used indoors . The Art Nouveau style includes symbols such as: the peace symbol , the crown , the cup of coffee , the butterfly.
